Coast Sports Management was many years in the making.

fact, when Lenny Strelitz, Jim
Lentine and Dave Penniall were
playing pro baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals organization,
and even when Dave and childhood friend Bill
Shupper were
playing "sandlot" baseball,
the seeds were sown.

with a young baseball prospect, just headed for stardom
in a new century loaded with opportunity.
